Toddler/Junior Preschool

 

Classroom

 

Our Junior Preschool classroom is our 1:5 ratio classroom. The classroom is open, bright and inviting. This class has learned the Toddler routine and is ready to learn more and more each day. Each Junior Preschooler has their own cubby for their diaper bag and a diaper cubby for all their diapers. This class will begin with a curriculum routine that will grow on the previous classrooms. Each kiddo will also begin potty training! Check out more information below!

Daily Routine

 

Each Junior Preschool follows our Junior Preschool room schedule. The Junior Preschool class has one nap per day and has a set schedule. Typical schedule is as followed: Drop off time, Morning Snack, Outside time, Free play, Art, Music, Lunch, Nap, Afternoon Snack, Small Activities and then its time to go home! During curriculum time, the Junior Preschool children focus on colors, shapes, matching, learning to cut paper and learning to glue, they are one busy class!

Play Time

 

Playtime includes art, songs, instruments, visual flashcards, large blocks, sensory items, puzzles and more. The children have a set free play times for morning and afternoon.

Cleanliness

 

All our age appropriate toys, chairs, tables and mats are sanitized daily.

Day In The Life Forms

 

Parents will be sent home with a Day in The Life Form which was explain how your childs day went. This will include what your child ate, when their diaper was changed and info on potty training!
